So, I'm not going to MBA next year. I don't really feel like telling you all about my new school. I hate the school, I hate my parents for making me go there, and I hate that I got waitlisted at another school and then never got in. For all I really care, I'm coming back to MBA for my second semester senior year, regardless of what people say or think. This is the highschool that I love, with the friends that I love, and this is where I want to get my highschool diploma from, not some other school that I was forced to attend for two years and hated. So, no more MBA for now, but don't worry. I'll be back, and no one will stand in my way of that.

First semester wen really well. I raised my GPA substantially and I'm proud of that. I need to keep this up so that my transcripts keep looking good.

August 26 -- Only two more days of summer. I finished all of my summer reading, reports and books, tonight. You have no idea how happy that makes me. Done. With summer reading and unfortunately summer as well.

Only three more days of summer. It's sad that now we have to go back to doing work all the time, but I'm sort of glad to go back to school because there are downtimes in summer when I don't see my friends a whole lot and there isn't a whole lot to do.
So I finally finished my summer reading this morning. Benjamin Franklin has to have been the worst book I've ever had for summer reading. It was so boring. I got the general point of the book, but all the details are a blur to me at this point. I hope we don't do to much with it. We registered yesterday and so here's my schedule --
Period 1 - American History, Dr. Bailey
Period 2 - Latin III, Mrs. Christeson
Period 3 - Chemistry, Commander Carr
Period 4 - Study Hall, Mr. Goleanor
Period 5 - Lunch
Period 6 - Algebra II, Mr. Compton
Period 7 - Jazz Band, Mr. Rundberg/Mrs. Sadler
Period 8 - English II, Mr. Hensel

As of 11:57 P.M., August 17, I finished A Lesson Before Dying, my second of four books total and my second in the past six days. Next is a biography on Benjamin Franklin. We'll see how that one goes.

As of 12:15 P.M. August 15, I finished my FIRST summer reading book, The Life of Pi. I should be done A Lesson Before Dying by midnight Wednesday, August 17.

Guess what? It's July 18 and I haven't even thought about summer reading yet. I leave town on Thursday, and I won't be back for two weeks. Then I'm home for a day befoer jetting off to Hawaii for a week. That means I'll be getting back on August 13 and School starts somewhere around August 25ish. Looks like I've got great planning skills and a lot of reading to do.
